BASTIEN SALABANZI JOINS PRIMITIVE!

A new year means a new team member for Paul Rodriguez' Primitive Skateboarding brand. Announcing his board company in April of last year, Paul has made efforts to form a progressive team from scratch. The news of the addition of Bastien to the team comes just two months after fellow rider, Nick Tucker, became the first professional for the brand. At 29, Salabanzi has already had an epic career. Turning pro for Flip Skateboards in 2000 and being a main star in the "Sorry" videos, Bastien's legacy was born at the young age of 15. With was seemed like a 5 year hiatus with no sponsorship during the mid-2000s, Bastien has seen the ups and downs of professional skateboarding. More recently, the Frenchman has been spotted skating Paul's park on the regular during every trip to the States. It only seemed right that he would join the Primitive team as he left the European company "Jart" in late 2012 and has been sponsor-less since. Bastien's introduction to the pro team certainly gives new-found promise to his legacy in skateboarding.
