The Berrics' continuous flow of content has allowed the website to prosper as a skateboarding hub. Their main event, Battle at the Berrics, is a contest that is simplistic but so perfect. Instead of skating giant rails and stairs, the site pins top pros and amateurs against each other in one of the most basic forms of skateboarding, flatground. Its hard to believe that its been over 7 years since the first BATB. Recently, the Berrics created a new poll where followers can vote on who they want to see in the contest. The Berrics' innovation as a hub for the skate community has garnered the attention of ESPN and even other big investors. Personally, I look forward to seeing the new BATB, even if I have to settle for the webcast during finals night.
